This is a very non-technical post, just to get back in the swing of things. I was out of the country for over three weeks, the first time I have ever been on a business trip for that long. I taught for a week in Melbourne and a week in Adelaide. My husband joined me in Sydney in between the two classes (the first time he's ever done that) and after the Adelaide class was over, we took off for Queensland for fun in the sun. We spend two days in the beach town of Airlie Beach, three days on a Catamaran sailing and snorkeling around the Whitsunday Islands, and two days at a resort on Hamilton Island. True R&R! And wonder of wonders, once my husband arrived in Sydney, there were absolutely NO travel glitches, even though there were twelve more flights between the two of us. No delays, no lost or delayed luggage and no problems with hotel rooms. That in itself made for a fabulous holiday!
Now I'm back in my office, trying to get ready for my PASS presentations next week in Denver.
In answering one of the many emails from former students that arrived while I was down under, I came across a geeky tidbit that I'll post about tomorrow.
I hope to see many of you next week in Denver ... please don't hesitate to say hello!
Have fun!
