Geek City: More SQL Internals

Danny Gould was very impressed by the interest in his SQL Internals tool from readers of my blog, so he wanted to let all of you know that there is now an updated version.

In addition to bug fixes, Danny says of the new version:

It now displays PFS pages and the buffer pool on the allocation map and the database browser can display physical stats (using sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats). It now also works with the 2008 June CTP and supports SQL authentication.

Get the update from the same site as the earlier version:  http://www.sqlinternalsviewer.com/

Have fun!

I've just updated the tool again and it now supports any size database and has improvements to the Page Viewer.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the application!
