A place for my thoughts and experiences the Microsoft Data Platform

Here I am

Yes, here I am. I’ve finally decided to move my blog here, where a lot of friends already hosts their blogs. Here I really feel “at home” :-).

But for all those who don’t know me, who I am? Well, here’s a brief introduction.

My name is Davide Mauri, I work and live in Italy, in Milano and my focus is SQL Server and Business Intelligence. I come from a developer career and thus a still enjoy and use a lot of .NET. I really love to try to get out the “Best Of both worlds”, expecially helping developers to understand that SQL and RDBMS are not the root of all evil. [:)]

I’ll speak at the PASS conference this year (on a topic that covers all those things I love: SQL Server, BI and .NET), so we’ll also have the chance to meet in flesh, to share a beer, to talk about technical things but also to talk about anything (I’m a rock and heavy metal lover and a biker so if you also share those interests, just show up! :-))

Meanwhile, happy reading!
